Images of some taxis set on fire last Tuesday in Bamenda have turned the anger of those targeted against the sponsors of the burning from abroad.

They question how burning the taxis of those earning a living from it would affect the government of Cameroon which was their target. Some who still believe in the liberation struggle say the new tactic is the handiwork of Ayaba Cho’s AGOVC.
One of the victims of the burnings, Joseph Fru Nde, a physically challenged whose cab driver was attacked on Che Street in Bamenda was lucky to be rescued by persons of goodwill with a new car.
