The inspiring writings and teachings of Professor Jean Emmanuel Pondi over the years have been recognised.
The Vice-Chancellor of the ICT University has earned the distinction of “Most inspiring Cameroonian intellectual of his generation.”
The award was bestowed on him by the African Centre for Competitive Intelligence (CAVIE-ACCI).
The award signed by the institution’s Executive President, Dr. Guy Gweth, hails him as the Cameroonian intellectual whose influence extends far beyond the borders of his country.
“His pioneering ideas, dedication to Africa’s competitiveness, and enlightened patriotism have ignited entire generations,” wrote CAVIE-ACCI, adding that “Through his writings and teachings, he has significantly shaped the intellectual landscape of Cameroon”.
The award has been appreciated by Prof. Victor Mbarika, President/Founder of ICT University.
“ In my capacity as president of the ICT University, it is my honor to congratulate our distinguished Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jean Emmanuel Pondi for receiving the award of “Most inspiring Cameroonian intellectual of his generation,” wrote Prof. Mbarika.
The ICT Founder is proud that among the Vice-Chancellors all around the world, “ours is not just an ordinary Vice-Chancellor, but a distinguished Vice-Chancellor that the world recognizes.”
Prof. Pondi, it should be noted, has over the years defended Africa as the continent of the future. He is optimistic that Africa has a lot to offer in the world’s geopolitics and economy.
