Moscow will build power plants in Cameroon. This was stated in a communiqué from the Russian Ministry of Energy following a meeting between Russian Deputy Minister of Energy, Sergey Mochalnikov, and Cameroon’s ambassador to Russia, Mahamat Paba Salé.
The two parties specifically examined the possibilities of developing joint hydrocarbon production projects in Cameroon, as well as the participation of Russian companies in the construction of new power plants in the country.
“We are ready to discuss proposals in the field of production facility design and the delivery of electrical equipment,” stated the Russian Ministry of Energy.
