Junior Ngombe eliminated from police exams!

The euphoric mood within the family and supporters of Junior Ngombe  following his success in the written tests of the police officer and police inspector exams turned to gloom when the activist was eliminated during the medical test component of the exams which he underwent in the East Region, his mother’s region of origin.

Following the announcement that he had passed the written exams for police inspector, Junior Ngombe travelled to Bertoua for in-depth physical examinations, as part of the competitive entrance examination. This examination is divided into three phases: the medical examination, the sports tests and the character investigation.

Yesterday August 19, the first phase of the medical examination took place in 3 groups of 25 persons at the Bertoua garrison, as there were 78 candidates in total at the Bertoua centre in the East region.

At around 12pm this Tuesday August 20, the results of those admitted to the medical examination were read out at the Bertoua GMI. The young activist was surprised to find that he had failed. In his wave of 25, 16 people passed the examination and are currently at Cenajes in Bertoua with the others for the sports tests.

You must first be declared fit at the medical examination in order to qualify for the sport test. After the sports tests, those admitted will move on to the next stage.

It should be noted that Junior Ngombe passed both the police inspectors’ and peacekeepers’ examinations at the same time. This elimination from the medical examination excluded him from the rest of the tests linked to the two competitions.

It was explained to the candidates that for those who have passed the inspectors’ and peacekeepers’ examinations, a single medical examination is sufficient for both grades, and that a single mark in sport is added to the written marks for the peacekeepers’ and police inspectors’ examinations. The results will then be averaged and the final results published.

With a father from the Littoral and a mother from the East, Junior Ngombe chose the centre of the East region to sit for the police exam. He was already crowing about his success when the medical examination ruled him out.
