Chief Moses Obenofunde did not announce the precise date for the cultural festival, neither did he disclose what other issues he discussed with the Prime Minister.
The Horizon has been informed that one of the issues discussed was funding for the event.
We also observe that most of the chiefs of the South West Region, as result of the ongoing Anglophone crisis are resident mostly in the francophone regions of the country.
We also observe that Chief Moses Obenofunde’s meeting with Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute comes barely four days after three policemen were killed in Buea by alleged separatists.
Chief Obenofunde was also accompanied to Yaounde by the Secretary General of the South West Chiefs’ Conference.
