The Divisional officer, before wishing the participants a safe return to their various homes, continued to echo the message of peace to all sons of the Subdivision still terrorizing the population, and any other person conniving with them to allow the innocent kids to have a peaceful academic year because it’s a fundamental right for the kids to be educated. He also called on other Elite of Widikum Subdivision to join Senator Enwe Francis Abi in redynamising the educational landscape.
School resumption in a greater part of Momo division has been threatened with either total or partial boycott following a longstanding gun battle between separatists and state run militia since 2017.
