“We shall live no stone unturned to ensure the return of peace, stability and social cohesion not only in Bamumbu, Wabane Subdivision but the entire Lebialem Division. It is only through peace, unity and social interrelation that we could build a solid and prosperous society”.
This declaration was made by Senator LEKUNZE Andreas NEMBO, Paramount Traditional Ruler of Bamumbu, during the finals of a recent grandiose Football and Handball tournament organized by the Senate Member at the Tassah Football pitch in Magha- Bumumba Subdivision.
According to Senator LEKUNZE, the heavily attended Football and Hand ball jamboree that brought together over 2000 people, consisting of internal and external elites, over 30 Chiefs, Administrative, Council and Security officials,
CPDM partisans and grassroots party officials was not only for the population of Bamumbu to demonstrate their unflinching and unwavering commitment behind President Paul BIYA, but also an opportunity to preach, peace, unity, and social cohesion, as well as donate a huge medical consignment to some Health Centers in the Subdivision.
Conspicuously present at the groundbreaking event was the S.D.O of Lebialem, Mr. KAH Fabien, who graciously thanked the Senator for the stunning initiative aimed at spurring peace and stability in the Subdivision.
Fon LEKUNZE seized the sporting event to praise some important Government dignitaries who have contributed in promoting peace, and unity in the Division, notably Minister Paul TASONG, and Hon Dr.Bernard FOJU.
