The population of the North West Region, particularly militants and sympathizers of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) on Oct.26 held a grand celebration in honour of President Paul Biya’s legacy. The event, which took place at the office of the Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) of Mezam, drew thousands of supporters from across the North West Region

The CPDM’s exceptional mobilization was evident in the massive turnout, with supporters dancing and singing to the rhythm of drums. The event featured a documentary film projection, “Paul Biya: A Great Statesman with an Extraordinary Destiny,” which highlighted the President’s achievements in various sectors, including health and women’s empowerment ¹.

She highlighted the president’s achievements, including the Universal Health Coverage program and the promotion of women’s rights.
President Paul Biya’s administration has overseen numerous reforms and initiatives during his tenure.
In the early 1990s, Biya accepted the introduction of multiparty politics, allowing opposition parties to participate in the political process.
