Prof James MOUANGUE KOBILA honoured with Grand Prix Spécial du management et de la performance 2024
The work done by Prof James MOUANGUE KOBILA in addressing human rights abuses in Cameroon for the past four years has not gone unnoticed
The President of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CHRC), was honored with the *_Grand Prix Spécial du management et de la performance 2024_* during the 4th edition of the National Awards for Excellence, organized by *KAPORAL MEDIAS GROUP*. This distinction highlights his remarkable leadership within the CHRC.
The eminent members of the jury, including Professor Pierre ALAKA ALAKA, praised his managerial skills and the efforts made by Professor James MOUANGUE KOBILA to maintain the CHRC at the “A” status of National Human Rights Institutions, in line with the Paris Principles. This reaccreditation, obtained between October 2023 and April 2024, testifies to the integrity and efficiency of his management at the head of this prestigious institution.
The President of the CHRC received a standing ovation from the public, including personalities, politicians and journalists, leaders of civil society organizations for this achievement, thus highlighting the positive impact of his vision to make the CHRC the laboratory of what is best in Cameroon in terms of promotion and protection of human rights, as well as prevention of torture.
