The Centre National de la Jeunesse et des Sports (CENAJES) of Dschang, located in the Menoua Division of the West Region, Cameroon, recently commemorated a significant milestone – its 75th anniversary. The ceremony, held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, was chaired by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi.

Established in 1950, CENAJES Dschang has a rich history of forming generations of teachers and athletes. The institution has served as a cradle for sports legends, including the renowned Royal Aigle Royal de la Menoua. The center’s new installations have been renovated with the support of Turkish cooperation. This partnership highlights the importance of international collaboration in promoting sports development in Cameroon. The Minister’s commitment to advancing sports infrastructure in Dschang was evident in his promise to sign a major agreement to strengthen the region’s sports facilities, including the Tsinkop sports complex.
