The spate of atrocities committed by separatists in Baba I village with the sponsorship of the Diaspora have been exposed in an audio produced by an influential member of the elite that has gone viral. It was expected that after the publication of a list of 18 Baba I individuals collaborating with foreigners who have established torture camps in which they hold victims to ransom, normalcy would return to the village, but last week saw a resurgence of their devilish activities.
The member of elite names and shames some diehard supporters of the terrorist activities who have even been illegally ‘enthroned’ by foreign-based sponsors in the place of the legitimate Fon, based in Yaounde.
He further appeals to Samuel Sako who is perceived as the leader of the Ambazonia Interim Government to call his ‘boys’ led by General Diba to order because the current reign of terror and kidnapping for ransom were not the original objectives of their revolution.
The audio was provoked by the kidnapping of some villagers for carrying food to Yaounde for their Fon. The kidnappers led by General Diba were said to be demanding a ransom of 13 million. Because of the reign of terror, not even the secret society known as the ‘Ngumba’ could perform their duties. He expressed regret that for more than two years now, no purification rites have been performed to heal the land.
Some of the Diaspora-based sponsors of Amba activities named and shamed include Gawon Melo Forchu based in Maryland, USA and Hilary Shiwoh Mohmbakop, based in South Africa. Others are Bamenda based Melo and Douala-based Melo Noureddine. They are said to be working closely with one Mohmbakoh who has been enthroned as Fon.
Among the crimes of the Amba General in Baba I are raping and impregnating of young girls right in their family homes, the collection of 5000 FCFA per registered student from the proprietors of private secondary schools and 1000 FCFA per registered pupil from proprietors of private primary schools; collection of burial duties and even judging of disputes.
The member of elite calls on government and his fellow Anglophone brothers to come to their rescue from the Amba terrorists and their sponsors abroad.
