The Minister of Public Service has just made public the new recruitment plan for the 2025 fiscal year, after approval by the Head of Government. This plan provides for the integration of 2,860 new agents into the public service through various recruitment channels.
The recruitment plan is structured around three main categories that meet the specific needs of the administration:
1. Classic recruitments: 1,555 positions
This category forms the main foundation of the plan with:
910 positions open to direct competitions
180 positions via training competitions (excluding ENAM)
230 positions intended for the National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM) competitions
235 positions reserved for tests for agents under the Labor Code
These recruitments target priority sectors:
150 teachers to strengthen the staff of new universities
20 positions for graduates of the Institute of Economics and Finance
500 agents for the penitentiary administration, a sector undergoing restructuring
80 researchers for the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation (MINRESI)
These positions will allow career advancement for civil servants already in service, thus contributing to the enhancement of internal skills.
Special attention to the health sector
In addition to this recruitment plan, it is worth noting the exceptional contractualization of 4,144 health personnel previously in precarious situations. This operation, led by a dedicated interministerial committee, demonstrates the government’s commitment to stabilizing the workforce in this crucial sector.
This recruitment plan comes in a context of public administration modernization and aims to strengthen the operational capacities of the state in several strategic areas, including higher education, research, and security.
