The City of Kumba, Meme Division, is poised to host the South West Regional Gas Plant, The Horizon has been informed.
The foundation stone for the regional gas plant will be laid on Friday, 25th April, 2025, we have learnt.
Ahead of the project, City Mayor Gregory Ntemeyork Mewanu, held a high= level strategic meeting in his office with the administration and other stakeholders involved in the project.
After the office meeting, the delegation visited the site to ensure everything is in place for the laying of the foundation stone.
The city of Kumba is getting ready to host the first ever South West Liquid Gas plant.
The gas plant, we have been informed, will not only create employment for the locals but would positively impact the economy of the town and the region in general.
