The Senior Divisional Officer of Meme, South West Region of Cameroon, Ntou’ou Ndong Chamberlain, has declared Mbelle Smith Lokima as the 3rd class Chief of Koba Bakundu village, Konye Subdivision. He replaces the late Chief Makane Obase Calpy.
Chief Mbelle Smith Lokima, was declared traditional ruler of Koba Bakundu village in prefectural Order NO. O5/ Po/SAAJP/ 2025, signed and dated 27 th May, 2025.
After quoting “eight mindfuls” and 6″considering”, the SDO communique stated that the replacement of late Chief Makane Obase Calpy by Mbelle Smith Lokima, as 3rd class Chief of Koba Bakundu village,” was carried out in conformity with the regulatory procedure on 27 th October, 2022.
Article 1 of the communique states “That as from 27 th October 2022 and in respect of the rule of non- accumulation of wages, Mr Mbelle Smith Lokima, can benefit the advantages provided for in decree No. 77/245 of 15 th July, 1977 bearing the organization of traditional Chiefdoms, modified and supplemented by decree no.2013 / 332 of 13 th September 2013 “.
