May 30, 2025 will be remembered as a momentous day in the annals of Bametogoung village, located in the Babadjou Sub Division. The Public Primary School of Bametogoung marked the end of the school year with a grand ceremony, which also featured the inauguration of two brand-new classrooms. The event was attended by the D.O of Babadjou and the Mayor, highlighting the importance of education in the community’s development.

The closing ceremony was part of the innovative educational programme entitled “Useful School,” designed to strengthen students’ attachment to school, motivation to learn, and ability to express themselves confidently in society. The programme aims to equip students with essential skills in reading, writing, and calculation, while encouraging parents to take a more active role in monitoring their children’s education.
