MTN Cameroon, in collaboration with Huawei and other partners, has embarked on an ambitious project to construct 12 modern digital centers across the country. This initiative is part of the MTN group’s annual staff volunteer program, “21 Days of Y’ello Care,” which is now in its 18th edition.
*A Commitment to Digital Inclusion*
The program aims to promote digital inclusion and create shared value by providing sustainable solutions to communities. On June 14, 2025, MTN Cameroon staff, along with their partners, deployed to 12 sites nationwide to prepare for the construction of these digital centers. The sites were selected on June 3, 2025, during the official launch ceremony of the 21 Days of Y’ello Care 2025.
*Community Engagement*
In Douala, the staff of MTN Cameroon mobilized at the Emilie Saker College in Akwa Bonamouti, a confessional secondary education establishment with nearly 70 years of history. The team worked tirelessly to prepare the site for the construction of a modern digital center, which will serve as a hub for students and the local community to access quality education and digital resources.
